Shot in Versilia (Tuscany) in 2025, the film follows the band as they rediscover their sound with “ancient instruments and new minds,” holding past and future together: the earnest psychedelic years, the ’80s of punk and first bands, the ’90s of hip-hop and electronica, all the way to raves in the Apuan Alps.
The documentary cuts from stage energy to intimate thoughts: “We’re a generation for whom psychedelia was deadly serious. Some got lost, others found something… others are still searching.” The imagined presence of Luigi Tenco “still alive somewhere” along the coast from Livorno to Genoa becomes the emotional map for a fresh start. Alongside the film, Y0ung1ns1de presents their album, born from the urge to bring friends, stages, and songs back together: a “slightly ramshackle band, but with heart.”
